Alumni association of the University Department of Professional Studies, University of Split

Who we are

Alumni AXIS Split is a non-profit association registered with the competent authority of Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia. It operates in Croatia and abroad and brings together former and current students of the University Department of Professional Studies at the University of Split.

Since May 2026 the association has been a full member of ASUS, the alumni association of the University of Split, which connects it to the wider university alumni network.

Our objective

To improve the quality of life and study for former and current students, and to promote cooperation between students, the alumni community and the University.

What we do

  • Organise professional, scientific and social events
  • Cooperate with the University and other alumni organisations
  • Connect members with employers
  • Mentor and support students
  • Promote the standing of the Department in Croatia and internationally
  • Keep members informed about the association's work

Timeline

  1. Founding assembly

    Board elected for a term ending 20 October 2029.

  2. First general assembly

    Decision to join ASUS and the first student study trip to Zagreb and Varaždin.

  3. Science Comes to Town

    Co-organised the project presentation in Diocletian's Palace.

  4. Second general assembly

    Adopted the work programme for the coming period and an outline budget.

  5. Careers week

    Panel discussion on careers after studying at the Department.

  6. Full member of ASUS

    Admitted to the University of Split alumni association; site visits to the Ogorje wind farm and Vrboran control centre.
