Alumni AXIS Split and the Student Council of the University Department of Professional Studies invite students, staff and alumni of the Department to a voluntary blood donation drive, organised by the Split branch of the Croatian Red Cross and the University Department of Professional Studies.
Blood cannot be manufactured, and a single donation, separated into its components, can help up to three patients. Everyone who is able to donate is warmly invited to join us and help those who need it most. Give blood – save a life!
What you need to know
- Donors must be aged 18 to 65, in good general health and weigh over 55 kg
- Women can donate every four months, men every three
- Bring an identity card, passport or driving licence
- Come rested and have a light meal beforehand
- Avoid alcohol and fatty food for at least 8 hours before
- A doctor on site decides whether you can donate
