Who can join, membership categories and how to pay the annual fee

How to join

Membership is open to anyone who completed a professional undergraduate or graduate programme at the University Department of Professional Studies, and to current students. Membership is voluntary; by submitting the application form you accept the objectives, rights and obligations set out in the statute.

  1. Fill in the online application below — or download the PDF form, complete it and send it to alumniaxis.st@gmail.com or hand it in at the association's office.
  2. The Board decides on admission, then the Secretary enters you in the register of members and emails you.
  3. Active members pay the annual fee using the payment details.

Online application

It takes about two minutes. After you submit it, the Secretary checks the details, the Board decides on admission, and once you are in the register of members we get back to you by email.

Active membership is granted by the Board; honorary and supporting members are appointed by the General Assembly on the Board's proposal (Art. 11 of the Statute).
Studies

Enter the year (e.g. 2019).
Active members elect and can be elected to the association's bodies, vote at the General Assembly and take part in its activities; the annual fee is EUR 10. The Board decides on this status (Art. 11(5) of the Statute) and we will get back to you. Ticking this only shows your interest and commits you to nothing.

Membership categories

A graduate of the University Department of Professional Studies whom the Board recognises for outstanding professional work or work in the association. Active members vote at the general assembly and pay the annual fee.

Anyone who earned a qualification at any level at the University Department of Professional Studies.

An individual or organisation that has made a special contribution to the development and standing of the association. Appointed by the General Assembly on the Board's proposal.

Individuals or organisations that support the association's work materially or organisationally. Appointed by the General Assembly on the Board's proposal.

The annual fee for active members is EUR 10, paid by bank transfer to the association's account. The details are set out in the decision on membership fees.

Respect the statute and the association's decisions, represent the association fairly, and pay the membership fee where it applies to your category.

Yes. The association operates in Croatia and abroad. Send the completed form by email and pay the fee by SEPA transfer to the IBAN listed here; no Croatian bank account is needed.

The register of members is kept by the Secretary. It contains personal data (personal ID number, date of birth, contact details), so it is not published. Members can inspect it on request (Article 12(3) of the Statute), and anyone can ask to see their own data — write to alumniaxis.st@gmail.com.
